Cant Install after Uninstalling...

Operating System: Win XP Prof. SP 1
Burning Software: Nero,Alc.1.9.5
Anti-virus Software: Norton IS 2005
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

HI

When i want to install Daemon 3.47 it sais :" Some driver has invalid name or conflicts with other driver...."

Before i uninstalled DT with Windows Installer, because my Daemon.dll was
missing(!).I heard that it can be caused by other Software..

So what can i do noW?

Check thread about error 25002 in common problems and solutions forum, reboot after the procedure.
Next time check if daemon.dll was renamed to daemon.bak, you probably just need to rename it back.

Thanks for so fast help, i followed instructions and deletet all but

a347scsi key in regedit is not to delete..:

Windows said: Error while deleting..

Hmm..now i will reboot machine and then i tell if problem is solved.

No succes..

I get the same Error and cant install DT after rebboting and follow the steps...the scsi key in registry is still there and i cant delete..

Any Idea?

Check registry permission for that key with regedt32.

Uhm, you deleted a347? key? That's probably some Alcohol key, you've to delete d347* keys. Also ensure you followed all steps.

MY fault: I got the registry entries in it, cause after reboote one was there.

Now i deletet them and installed DT !!

Unbelieveable!

After two or three days i got again the same error: the daemon.dll ist deletet!!

What programm deleted the .dll ?

Since now my system is running correctly.

Any Idea?

Or can i download the .dll anywhere ? Cause this reinstall-procedure is not

easy and wont help at all.

Check if daemon.dll was renamed to daemon.bak, in such case just rename it back.
Do you use e.g. Knights of Honor?

No there is no Deamon.bak..

I use Splinter Cell 3 , Swat 4 , thats all..

Is there a change to download the .dll somewhere ? after that i will write
protect and rename them .
