Error: Product not installed!

DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

After uninstalling Daemon tools 3.43, I began receiving a small error window on startup that says Product not installed! which only goes away when I reinstall the program. Ive gone through every step mentioned in this thread, but none of it seems to prevent this. Perhaps Im missing something? Thanks.

Perhaps unregistering and registering the MSI system might help you.
In the run dialog, type:

"msiexec.exe /unregister", confirm it, and enter the following:
"msiexec.exe /regserver".
After this, restart your computer and try to install d-tools again.

Maybe you'd some addon installed (e.g. awxDTools), you need to un-install addons, too.

Didn't work. I'm not running any add-ons either.


One thing I have noticed was that the last drive I have connected defaults to G:, my virtual DVD to E:, (I have one physical CD-ROM, D, and my F: label has completely dissapeared, as if being reserved by some rogue system file. It occoured when I first encountered this problem after uninstalling Daemon Tools.
