  • can't remove deamon tools

Operating System: Windows XP pro service pack 2 (build 2600)
Burning Software: Nero 5.5.8.0 and Alcohol 1.9.2 (build 1705)
Anti-virus Software: AVG Free Edition 7.0.323
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.46 / 3.47 (apparently it is 3.47 now)

    Operating System: Windows XP
    Burning Software: Nero and Alcohol
    Anti-virus Software: AVG Free Edition
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47 / 3.46

A couple of days ago I had a virus, and somehow I managed to mess up the driveletter of my encrypted drive, and apparently also Deamon Tools. I have tried to uninstall Deamon Tools, but it didn't work. Then I tried downloading version 3.47 and updating, and apparently it went well. But then i began an error regarding deamon.dll each time I started Windows. I still had my virtual drive with a image mounted, but I couldn't acces Deamon Tools to change it...
Then I tried uninstalling again, but had no luck.
Now I have tried doing what is described here:

But i could neither update, reinstall nor uninstall.

Then I tried to do this:

But when i got to step 3 I found that I couldn't delete these three entries:

    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\PCI\d 347prt
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet003\Enum\PCI\d 347prt
    HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\P CI\d347prt

I rebooted, and found that my virtual drive were gone, but i couldn't uninstall nor reinstall.
When i tried to use the windows uninstaller I'm told that it is missing deamon.msi

    I went here:

put the registry entries i backuped back, and found out that the one i need isn't on the list (0x032f0000).

Anybody have any idea as to what I can do?

When you install Daemon Tools the msi should be unpacked to Windows\Downloaded Installations folder - there you should find the required msi.
