New to daemon tools, having a problem

Anti-virus Software: norton
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

Hey, so i try to mount this image, but my real DVD-ROM drive isn't on the list in daemon tools (F: ) only the virtual ones. i think that is why it won't mount correctly. i had something mounted before, but i think it was mounted in my ACTUAL drive. now, it isn't there and i have no idea why. Anyone know why this is happening and how to fix it?

You can not mount an image to your "real" device. Mounted images will always mount on virtual devices only.

Real cd / dvd => real dvd-rom drive and
"virtual" cd / dvd (also called image) => "virtual" cd/dvd-rom drive.
