    Mounting/Unmounting

    Operating System: WinXP
    Burning Software: Alchohol120
    Anti-virus Software: Norton 2005
    DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47

    Being totally new to this can some one tell me, after mounting an Image file, do you have to Unmount it when you shutdown the computer.

    Usually no, although in some cases (e.g. images mounted on network or usb drives) it could cause problems if the drivers are loaded after Daemon Tools during Windows boot and automount is enabled.
    Disable automount then, and un-mount the images before reboot/shutdown to prevent any problems.
