I Am Having Trouble Installing Daemon Tools 3.47.0

Hey, i am trying to install daemon tools 3.47.0 and i keep getting this error "Some dirver has invalid name or conflicts with other file or service in system. Please choose other driver names or make sure you have rebooted after removal of software using same names" but the thing is i have rebooted several times after uninstalling this same software before and i dont know what driver name to change and what to. i currently had them on: Bus driver name:d347bus , Miniport driver name: d347prt. Please could you help me. Thanks

Why don't you change the driver names then?

By the way, did you have DTools installed before? You must always uninstall before you install again.

Try changing to d349bus, d349prt.

For reference, mine are "lolbus" and "lolprt".

Thanks For That I Have Now Installed It. But i Seem To Be Having Trouble Mounting My File. Im Trying To Mount a .mds File But Nothing Happens When I Do. Is Their Any Way You Can Help.

Do you have an mds and mdf file you need the two files.
The must have the same name.
Does DAEMON-Tools display a message "Please Wait" if you want mount the file? Does it show any ErrorMessage?

ok, I just posted a new thread with this problem. How do I change the name of the drivers?

Are you using DT 3.47?
Then you can change the name of the drivers during the installation.
