Hi. If I create a .nrg file using nero, and then mount it in MDtools4. And then use "Easy CD-DA Extractor" to extract the tracks it works just fine. But It don't get any metadata from the freedb.

If I burn this .NRG file to a real cd and use Easy CD-DA Extractor then it get the metadata from freedb

Any solutions? any one

So let me get this straight. You're ripping a disc to an image, then mounting the image, then ripping the individual songs from that image to MP3's (or WAV's)? That seems an awfully long and round-a-bout method of doing it. Why don't you just rip directly from the original?

Hehe no. I have the songs in formats like wma etc,etc.
And I create a .nrg image, and then I ripp the tracks from the img.

This I do so I don't need to burn the songs to a real cd only to be able to convert the song to non protected formats.
Since the converter don't support DRM messed up formats.

Ah, gotcha. Well as an alternative, you could buy a CD-RW and burn to that. Then just reuse the RW and no waste of CD's.

Yes I know, but it takes more time to do that. Thats why i like the idea of using D-Tools, quicker for the same thing
