    Virtual cd-rom drive dissepers

    I have installed DT4 with no problem.
    A new device shows i my file manager, but 2 seconds later its gone.
    Anyone know whats the problem ?
    Or do i need a better explenation.

      I did, but that was not my problem.

        I assume you had no install error messages, and you REBOOTED after the install. Exactly when does the device disappear? Right after you launch daemon.exe? Do you have a tray icon after this issue occurs or does the DAEMON Tools tray icon program quit?

        If you can upload setupapi.log from (C:\Windows) that would help too (and if you can find a free hosting place to put the file).
