I'm new at this, and call me stupid, but I'm not sure how to do...well...anything. I'm trying to mount World of Warcraft and I have absolutely no clue how. The link to the manual is broken, so I was hoping somebody could help me out here.

Do you see the icon in the System Tray (Sometimes Windows XP hides System Tray icons)? That is the only interface available to use DAEMON Tools, there isn't a program that pops up in the center of the screen or anything.

In regards to the DAEMON Tools help manual it is available underneath the "Main Menu" on the very left-hand side of the forum's webpage. The menu entry says "DAEMON Tools Help."
