Installation not working!!

Hello,
I installed Daemon tools version 4.00 on my Windows XP computer today. The installation completed successfully, and I rebooted my machine. When I click on the desktop Daemon Icon (which links to the executable file), my cursor becomes an hour glass but then nothing happens. My cursor goes back to the normal arrow, but the program does not run. I repeated this process with version 3.47, and got the same result. I'm not sure why this is happening; please help.

What do you expect to happen? The desktop icon just starts the tray icon GUI - do you see the tray icon? If not check related thread in common problems and solutions forum.
