Starforce vs USB-2-IDE cables + DT4

Hi.

Does anybody have first hand experience with USB-2-IDE cables and Starforce 3.5+ protected games? I'm thinking about picking up the R-Driver II USB to IDE cable http://www.dansdata.com/rdriver.htm

Will a DVD-ROM/DVDRW hooked to this contraption along with DT4 eliminate the need for using anti-blacklisting tools (of course, I won't be using any additional IDE optical drives)?

Are you talking about purchasing an external drive enclosure? If so there's about 1,000 posts on that stuff in the cdfreaks forums.
