Need Help: DVDRW+- Wont work (Due to Starforce Nightmare)
Hello,
Well i used starforce nightmare earlier and now my DVDRW wont burn, and i have searched but cannot find the solution on these forums. If anyone can post a sollution ASAP it would be much appreciated.
So I've been trying to bypass Securom problems that I've been having lately, and I can put all that aside for now, right now I'm worried that my computer is toast. Not knowing how much knowledge I should've had before going into the program I hastily decided to click the first option and clicked Disable Ch1, while this was processing it turned into a blue screen of death, I saw mention of the word Kernal, but anyway I restarted and the computer seemed fine, but then I tried to play a game and about ten minutes in the computer gave me some error and restarted itself.
So then I figured I should enable that Ch1 since it may still be disabled, that in turn led to another blue screen of death. Basically I think it's still disabled, I'm not sure, all I know is that it runs fine when I'm not playing games, but it seems when a game gets going ten minutes in it crashes and restarts. The first crash mentioned something wrong with winlogon, the second crash just happened. Am I done for? Is there any possible solution to my problem? Thanks a bunch to whoever may have bothered reading this and perhaps has an answer.
Check C:\Windows\minidump for the latest minidump file and send it uncompressed to support@daemon-tools.cc and reference this thread. They can analyze the crash dump file and possibly tell you what the source of the BSOD is.
