Well here's a silly question: somehow I was able to dld Daemon tools, and mount the cue/bin files(actually, it's down to Daemon tools being so clear and simple even I can do it- and I know nothing) so...I now see a cue and bin file in my dvd ram drive(virtual drive?) D:... but I don't know how to go on and get thenm to install the program, as I only see a 'write these files to cd' option on the left. but when I try this, it of course says there's no cd in the drive lol. thanx for any help.

First of all, if the game you're trying to play is copy protected in any way, it probably won't work with cue/bin files because those don't contain enough information for the copy protection to work.
So please create another image of your original CD using Alcohol 120%'s mds/mdf file format. Mount that image with Daemon Tools, then it should work fine."I was inappropriately blunt, wasn't I? Sorry, I do that a lot." -
