After playing only a single game ,if I click on quit menu fifa 06 is not responding,So please help me.

i am facing the same problem that naveen kumar is fifa 06 hangs on clicking 'quit to main menu'. i thought that it was a problem with my sound card .......& was right ,after disabling the sound the game works fine.....i've got a cd-rom, but the game works fine on my friends dvd-rom
also none of the game's movies work..........
PLEASE HELP
