    Can't boot with SPTD after crash

    I had DT403 working fine, but recently my computer crashed in the middle of a game and now my OS won't boot (even in safe mode) unless I stop SPTD.sys from loading.

    When I try to uninstall Daemon Tools I'm told Setup is unable to validate installation.
    I've tried renaming or removing dtscsi.sys and that does not make any difference.

    Rename sptd.sys in safe mode and reboot.
    Check if you've minidump related to that BSOD/crash (in Windows\Minidump folder), if so send newest file to support@daemon-tools.cc with reference to this thread.
