OS: Windows XP Pro SP2
Daemon Tools: 4.03HE
I'm have trouble running "setup.exe" on two seperate mounted discs - both have Installshield installers. I'm pretty sure also that for one of them I Installed from the image and not the original so I think it used to work.
When I try and run the Setup file I get the following error box:
"Windows cannot access the specified device, path or file. You do not have the appropriate permissions to access the item."
The window title is F:\setup.exe
It does let me open any other file on the CD however, and in the case of the second game I can play my install (only tried to run setup on that to test it).
I've looked around and can't find reports of a similar problem elsewhere.
Any ideas what is causing this or how I may fix it?
