A question about approval.

Greetings.

Iґve applied for a position in the translation group and just wanted to know how long it will take before approval or rejection is decided. Reason for that is that im leaving for a vacation in (hopefully) just a couple of days and wanted to be sure im not missing anything.

BTW which language do you want to translate in?

I applied for translation to Croatian on Saturday and haven't yet got a reply. Are relatively new users accepted as translators?

Yes, they are also accepted. We are just flooded by translator-
requests currently and we must invest for everyone we accept
a small amount of time (we check who this person is, check
board-history, all posts, attitude etc etc), so it might take some
time. Nevertheless, today we processed again a bulk of new
translator-requests. Until you see that your request is not
removed, we did not deny the request (in the usergroup manager).

Thanx a million, LocutusofBorg, then i know. I wanted to translate Daemon Tools to swedish, could not find that language available, though all the other nordic ones are there
