I can't join the Translator Group

Hi,
I requested to join the translator group and when I click on "Join Group" I get this: "This does not appear to be a public user group.".
How do I fix that? I would like to improve the existing Hebrew translation since it is really terrible (and incomplete).

No one can help...? Blazkowicz? somebody..? I made the official translation for version 3, so I don't know why did this happen
