Help with device parameters

I have tried to set my device parameters to the correct cd/dvd drive that I use. It is F, but when I got inside to do it, it won't go past L. Am I doing something wrong?

Are the rest already in use? Has you tried following:

start/run/cmd/diskpart/list volume/select volume x (x=id from device)/assign letter=x (x=letter)

Make something idiot proof, but then they just make a better idiot
