Ok here's my story.
I installed 4.0 and during reboot got a "Windows 2000 could not start because of the following file is missing or corrupt: SYSTEMced"
So I did a last working configuration and was able to boot.
Think I deleted any Deamon files and then installed, what I thought, would be a more compatible 3.47.
Again I got the "Windows could not start. . "
However THIS time it was has been pure hell. I've tried it all. As I have a dual boot system, I'm able to reach over into the W2K OS easily and deleted d346bus.sys, d34prt.sys, sptd5037.sys and sptd.sys.
No luck.
I then tried a Windows repair. . .no luck. Same "Windows 2000 could not start because of the following file is missing or corrupt SYSTEMced"
Any ideas? I'd rather not reinstall if possible!
