diablo II character problem

I have a charcter problem you know the screen where all your accs are everytime i enter it theres nothing

Was this in single player or multiplayer? Because multiplayer characters get deleted after a short time if you haven't logged in, so that's one possibility. If it's single player, then your character file probably got corrupted somehow.
