found unknown file

i found a file called "is-3ore3.exe" in the C:\windows directory. i've looked for it in google, but i havnt found anything. i analyzed it using ms anti spyware, didnt help, scanned it using norton av 2005, no viruses. does any body no what this is? ive moved it away from the windows dir just in case. i dont have any probs with my system , pop ups, crashes, resarts,etc, but i don't think any programmer would giv a file a name like that, and ive no idea how it got onto my pc.

any help would be appreciated.

this is something i posted about ages ago.

anyway, it isnt related to Daemon-Tools, i think it was something to do with Registry Mechanic. it tried to put a dodgy named file in the startup after my reinstall of windows, and reinstalling all my apps. luckily i had ms anti spyware, and stopped it.

Sorry Locutus, the file was deleted with the format of my hd, although i kept it for a couple of day incase i get a reply from a couple of other forums.

@hinasina: if you looked at the date of my post, you would have noticed that this was something i posted in September 05 long before the release of damon tools 4.
btw, you dont have to install the ad software, it is optional during the setup process.

Maybe he found that is-3ore3.exe file you deleted 3 months ago. But seeing as the file name was probably randomly generated...

you're right, i think it was. after my format, when installing registry mechanic, another different dodgy named file was added to startup, but stopped with ms antispyware.
