Is there a difference between Holland and Netherlands?
Some dutch people say there is, some say there isnt... what do you think?

Okay I'm gonna set this right:P..

Holland is an old name for two old shires, it was the most commonly knonw area in the Netherlands (in the golden Century), now days, I officialy live in the Netherlands, Holland is nothing more then two shires (we have 12). The country is officially called the Netherlands and not Holland. But the Dutch use randomly, there is no difference in the two things if u talk about it. Only there is a official difference.. But just stick to the Netherlands and u'll be fine:P

I think that's it.. could be i'm forgetting something but still..
