erm nope, considering pid beta isnt public atm...
well if he was a beta tester he could probably have it...
if not he'll have to wait and/or use those other programs meantime
So GrabText is the only other
program beside HyperSnap that is
able to capture text at the current
time?
Try the PrintScreen button ( PrtScn ) of your keyboard.Paste the image with Irfanview (free ).Go to Edit ---> Paste. Then open the image by going to Open ---> Open with external editor ( I use OpenOffice ) OR
use an image editing software ( there are many free out there, google it ).Hope this helps!
It is remarkable how similar the pattern of love is to the pattern of insanity
Is OpenOffice able to capture text
from an image?
You need an OCR to get text from image. I don't think there is such function in OpenOffice.Org, but it's worth checking
By the way, if you have a printer device that is able to scan, you should have one in the bundle of crap that is installed with the drivers.
Carpe diem
I have Grabtext installed & that will do exactly as you want.
For some reason you cannot purchase Grabtext from their website the shop's been closed for several months now.
The trial is still available to download, it's worth trying the trial to see if it still has a time limit?
It still has a time limit.
![]()
why don't you just try "Ctrl + C" works for most standard message boxes (i assume you want the text from the message box that is)...
