cd/dvd emu software detected please disable and restart game

I am trying to play Doom 3 but it won,t allow me too, what have I done wrong. Farcry worked for me when I did it the same exact way.

How did you create your images (which readsettings did you use)?
Please scan the copy protection of the game using A-Ray Scanner or Protection ID (scan the cd and then installation directory and post the results here).

I used alcohol52% to make the mdf and mds files, I also did the same thing with farcry but I had to use a copy of the game disk to run off the virtual drive, I had to use a combo of the 2.
