  • Command And Conquer 3 Tiberium Wars Problem

Hi guys im new to this forum so any help or comment is greatly appretiated.

I make the MDS and MDF image file using Alcohol 120%. After that i uses Daemon Tools Lite ver. 4.12.0220 to mount the image.Lastly i started the yasu lastest version.During the process of making the image file, i keep getting one error "Cannot get the right DPM info from the dise with current devices"though the image is still able to be made. The DATATYPES set is securerom for this process.

When i run the game, it prompted with with this quote " Please inserted the original dise instead of the the back ups copy "

I also did tried to use Daemon Tools Pro (basic) and Daemond Tools Lite Editon to mount the file to one of the virtual drivers but the same problem still continue to exists.

Right now,im using a burned dise image by Alcohol 120% and it works though the loading to the game takes up longer then the orginals ones but other then tat is doing well. However i realli hope can played it without the dise.So anyone can post me some helps or solution. thanks for the help in advance

    My System's OS
    Window XP Home Edition

There is no Daemon Tools Lite ver. 4.12.0220 - only Daemon Tools Pro.

    Try different dpm speeds.

          Copied-running-playing but sluggish

At the first try I was able to make a copy of the original game using Alcohol 120% SecureROM mode at 1x. Mounted it on DT and it worked! But the problem it doesn't run on the same speed like the one in the CD.

You mean, it takes longer to load the game?

I don't really remember what installation types the game's installer offers, if any (e.g. "Full", "Load videos from disc", "Minimal", or similar), but personally I have the full game installed on my hard drive, and the disc is only checked when initially starting the game. After that, there are apparently no attempts to access the disc - and therefore I can't understand how the game could become more sluggish depending on the disc source (physical drive vs. virtual drive / image).

Can you tell us more about your game installation? Do you not have the full game installed to your hard drive?

You meant starting the game or the initial game?

BTW it is a DVD and not a CD.

What software did you use to create the image, and what options did you use?

                    then I'm the winner,

here you can find out anything that you need, you just have
to read properly - it is pretty self-explaining and covers every-
                    thing around daemon tools:

                    1) Daemon Tools Lite help:
                    DAEMON Tools Lite Help: Introduction

and for Daemon Tools Pro you can take a look here:

                    http://www.daemonpro-help.com

After you read a bit how to work with DT/DT Pro, I'm pretty sure
no questions will be unanswered anymore

You didn't answer the question, though. It sounds like a bad image. You should re-create it using Daemon Tools Pro or Alcohol.

It seems you're running a quite old version of DT Lite, by the way.

Your system's automatic autoplay is just disabled, that's the case.

Autofix is a nice tool from Microsoft to fix the autoplay problem.
