  • Trying to emulate Half-Life 2 & no luck

ok im trying to emulate a retail copy of half life 2 i bought & u may ask why dont i run it straight off my cd-rom reason being i dont is because my cd rom seems to be tempormental with securom protected games (dont know why, works fine with other protections).im useing blind write with the auto settings but when i mount the image on daemon it comes up with a message saying conflict with emulator & to go to the securom website for more info.so if somone can tell me what im doing wrong or if theres some settings i need to change ied be very greatfull for any help..

    thnks in advance

I heard valve made the retail version behave like the steam version now so you dont even need the CD.
