  • Rollercoaster Tycoon 3 Wild

Has anybody had any success trying to make a backup of Rollercoaster Tycoon Wild? It uses Securom 7 and is giving me lots of trouble.

I used Alcohol to create the image and played it safe

    I enabled:
    Skip Reading Errors
I selected Securom *NEW (4.x/5.x) profile
    Read Sub Channel Data
Data Position Measurement High 1x speed
    RMPS
    Burnt at 8x

Ok well I run and it says "Security Module not Found"
I figured D-Tools was being blacklisted. So i get "SR7 Stop" run it and now it gives me a no disk found error.
I also tried Virtual CD Hide and still no luck.

P.S I also tried mounting with Alcohol with no luck.

That's a known problem, and the fix is to run the game in "Windows 2000" compatibility mode.

    *EDIT*
By the way, personally, I don't encounter many blacklisting problems. Maybe because the user account I use with Windows XP lacks administator rights, not sure.

So you should try to use anti-blaxx.
I installed the 1.16 version and the same error appears on motogp3. I downloaded the modified exe and it was fixed.
Also you could try the version 1.17 or pretty new 1.18.
        That's one alternative if sr7stop doesn't work!

        1.16+modif.exe, 1.17

well I tried everything I could think of and still doesn't work. I'm so paranoid about this game that I haven't even bothered to play it with the original cd's. Thank you for all the advice and will just wait for DT4 to come out.

WOOT! took it to a friends house today and used Blindwrite on it and made an image file. I also needed to make a bwa file so I used bwa builder and scanned the cd. Went home and put the bwa file in the same folder the image and loaded it with Daemon Tools and used SR7Stop. I didn't know Daemon Tools autoloads the bwa file but after a few seconds of praying it STARTED!!

                How did you fix this:

A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed.

i tried using SR7Stop but still get same message. Thanks

DT automatically loads the self-made BWA with a blindwrite-made image or with an Alcohol-made image (it would be really cool if you used your old Alcohol image from before)?

I fixed it by making and using a bwa file with the image.

Did you stop using your alcohol image?

A *.bwa file only holds DPM information. You still need the Alchohol file.

How did you create the .bwi/.bws files and how are you trying to create the .mdf/.mds files?
