When I Recently upgraded Daemon Tools to (v4.30.4) I had also looked to see if there was a new version of YASU that would take care of our image mounting issue with Far Cry 2, but we keep our only physical CD/DvD drive disabled by default because it interferes with some of the other games anyway. Because {D:\} was assigned to the 1st virtual Drive in most cases. (the use of the 'D' drive letter by a virtual drive might be irrelevant next to the following fact) Its more likely because no Physical Drives are available\Enabled YASU is assuming that the 1st drive is automatically a Physical drive.
So with part of that in mind, I redid the Drive Labels re-assigning {D:\} from Daemon Tools as a Virtual Drive back
to our Physical Optical DVD-Drive and setting Daemon Tools to one Virtual Drive taking the Drive Letter {F:\}. By Default we keep our Physical DVD-Drive Disabled.
As the below log shows with the physical drive {D:\} disabled YASU does not properly detect Daemon Tools's {F:\} drive as a virtual drive as it should, and does not properly cloak it. This should be looked into, YASU should not be assuming if it only sees one optical drive that that drive is a physical drive, also before I resigned {D:\} back to the physical drive and when I had more then one virtual enabled, YASU assumed the virtual drive that had the D:\ drive letter was a physical drive and ignored it.
Also when I attempted to de-cloaked and re-cloaked it, YASU refused to cloak it all... Whats with that?
(note: no Physical drive enabled).

Well its great to finally to be here on the Daemon Tools Forums. I love Forums because it grants all of us the time and place to chat with actual Developers and all sorts of people from around the world, to talk and discuss ways to improve software and fix many of the bugs that software unfortunately tend to have (no worries, lets just do our best ). I look forward to my time here, well spent. ^^
