Caesar Iv - Securom

Hey guys,

I am trying to play Caesar IV, but the securom protection is stopping me from playing the backup. Can anyone help me figure out what protection its running and why ASR or CureROM won't make it work?

I had to disable my drives to get it to work.

Same problem here. When trying to run it through curerom or using securom loader 1.2 I get the "A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed." message.

Tried several things to get it going but no luck as yet. Anyone have any ideas?

What is the error message from SecuRom?

mh tried it now myself:

1) Pr0t.St0p 1.0 works every time i start the game
2) Disabling DVD Drive works too, just set it on disabled @ device manager and leave only the DT drive there
3) Securom Loader 7.26 seems to work every 2-3 trys, sometimes it just starts, securom icon appers and both process are gone sometimes the game fires up and works.

if i start the game without using tools or disabling drives it wants me to put the disc in my DVD drive. F: ist daemon tools, G: ist my DVD..it just says: "Please remove the Disc from your drive and insert it into G:".

just use prot stop, should work fine.

From all tools i've tested, only procyon's loader gave me 100% flawless starting of SecuROM titles, including Caeasar IV.

I've used Daemontools and Alcohol 120%. But with or without your software I keep getting that there's a conflict with the emulating software.

Well, SecuROM loader 1_2 works for me though. The problem is that Caesar IV then reports Invalid save game... (what save game?!) on splash screen when loading first campaign. If I try to restart the game I get this message Microsoft Visual C++ Runtime Error. (All drivers are updated, SP2 installed, so is .NET 2.0, MSQL, April's DirectX 9.0c) The game itself is big bunch of bugs and no one seems to find out why.

I tried different loader but i couldn't make Caesar 4 work.
- SecuROM_Loader_v7.26
- SecuROM_Loader_v1.2
- Pr0t.St0p
every time i got message say " caesar 4 has encountered a problem and needs to close "

I'm using daemon tools 4.06 (AMD 3.0 PROCESSOR )
I mount caesar 4 CD1.

maybe i made any thing wrong

help! ok so i downloaded the pryconcs and put it in the games main folder and run it. it wants me to select a file. then what? when i click the shortcut thing to run the game it says i need to put in the orginal cd. do i need a no cd crack? is so where can i get 1 bc i cant find 1
