I have the RTM (build 6000) of Windows Vista x64. I just can't figure it out to have virtual drives. I tried with several programs with this porpuose (yes, the one everybody is thinking, which name has a lot to do with the wine, the wisky and the beer,
) and others with no luck. But this is a DTools post, so I will respect the rules. It installs with no problems, it asks to restart and when I do it, it continues installing OK, it finishes, and when I try to mount an image, I click on its icon, and when I point to Virtual Drives I get "Device 0 [ ]: No media", when as you all know, between the [] it should appear the virtual drive letter. If I go to Device Parameters, I try to assign a letter, and I get the message "Unable to assign letter to this drive". For more data, it didn't bring me problems with my DVD recorder or my CD reader, I'm using the 4.08HE version (x64 OBVIUSLY), and I have a 80 Gb ATA (IDE) HDD drive. The images I want to mount, if it's is useful for something, are located in DVDs.
