I just wanted to say that the problem went away on my PC with Daemon Tools Version 3.41. However, I do not really know if the problem went away because I installed the new version. I also went to Windows Update and loaded new security patches there.

I totally lost here..

I have uninstalled DT 3.41 and tryed to installed a older version 3.31..

That seems to work, undtil I restartet the computer..
Then the error pop ups again..
I have also tryed to installed Alcohol 120%, but the program gave me a error every time, the computer was restartet...

This is the error, that I got, after restartet with DT 3.31 installed.

The new problem that I gets, is that I get a error under Device Manager..
" PnP Bios Extension " -- Windows cannot load the device driver for this hardware. The driver may be corrupted or missing.

What the devil is that? I have never had this problem before.. Is it relatet with Deamon Tool??

I hope that I soon will be able to again use DT without any problems :-)

Win2K will not boot after restart

Operating System: Windows 2000 SP 4, recent security patches
Burning Software: Nero 5.5.9.13
Anti-virus Software: NAV 10.0
DAEMON Tools Version: 3.41

My Win2K machine will not fully boot up after installing DT 3.41. It hangs right after the keyboard flashes during the Win2k Splash screen. If I disable the ST3SHARK SCSI in safe mode, it will then boot up fine. It does keep trying to install a new controller while disabled although. I removed DT 3.41 and reinstalled 3.29, and that version still work fine without a problem. I rebooted several times to make sure it worked after reboots also.

Hey, i got exactly the same problem. This Windows XP install is 1 day old, so no mess.. On win2k DT ran perfectly... I'd be very glad if you could send me the workaround version.. Reinstalling DT after every reboot doesn't make me happy
If you need any error dumps just ask me and tell me where to find them

Hey, Im working with DT for a long time and it always worked fine but since 3.41 this f*cking Error keeps trucking trought my head! :evil:

So is there a fix for that prob. or do you know what is this Error about?
