Windows freezes after standby when Image-source becomes unavailable

Hello,

I have a serious problem with DAEMON Tools Lite v4.30.4 when I wake up from standby or hibernation mode, I can clearly describe when this error happens, and have reproduced it several times on two different computers. Here's what happens:

- I mount an Image (ISO-File) from an external harddrive connected via E-SATA or USB to my computer.
- I access the virtual drive from Windows explorer or from anywhere else
- I disconnect the external drive from my computer, so the image source mounted in Daemon tools becomes unavailable.
- When I now enter Standby or Hibernation mode on my computer, and then wake the system up, it works for some seconds, and then the whole system freezes

Please, can you check if this happens at your place too? It took me a while to diagnose this behaviour, but I can reproduce it anytime. Please feel free to ask if you have questions

Which OS are you running?
Will test this issue with an USB HDD (i don't have an ESATA HDD).

Thanks for your quick reply, I am using Windows XP Pro SP3, german languagge version, all "important" Microsoft updates are installed.
