Same story with build 5472.... doesn't work with latest DT.
But as always, Daemon tools v3.33 still works great with 5456 and 5472.

Dt v3.33 works great but its true that its not able to bypass latest protection ( i usualy used it with 3rd party softwares like securom loader or sdhide etc... Starforce above 3.xx doesn't work with v3.33)

Grr, that sucks. But at least it's better than no daemon at all. Keep posting on what you find with 5472, your posts have always been very useful and informative.

Isn't it pointless to create a new thread every time you discover DAEMON Tools doesn't work in another beta release? If it does work-- that seems like something to talk about.

Program Error

Daemon 4.03,1.25 SPTD > Unable to add adapter.İnsufficient Priveleges

Daemon 3.33 -> Virtual SCSI driver not detected.

My System
AMD 3000+
Epox 9NPA+Ultra
256 MB X850 XT PCI-E
512x2 DDR 400 Dual
16X Asus DVD RW
80 GB SATA II HDD

I think there's a special way to run with full administrative privileges. I don't know how to do it though.

Right click on My computer/Manage/User account/
Double click on Admin account and make sure its enabled, desactivate user and guest account and reboot.

Warning: I kind of toasted my 5472 install using this.

It wouldn't let me into the Admin account and of course the other accounts were gone. Rather than messing around in safe mode I've decided to reinstall and go with 3.33 for now.

Earlier I also got the "Unable to add adapter" and "unable to open file in kernel mode" errors despite running DT as Admin and also in compatibility mode.

This was all with Defender running and the default graphics drivers installed (Nvidia 7400 laptop). Someone mentioned that graphics might be an issue.

Edit: 3.33 wouldn't install either (25030, 25001).

Just to say again guys, Daemon 4.03 with SPTD 1.25 (x86 or x64) will NOT work on Vista build 5456 and 5472. Sfkilla23 has made this point obvious enough.
