Cant get past error code 14 screen

So I installed, or rather tried to install, daemon tools pro on my machine. Win 7 64, upgrade from vista 64

When I tried to install i got the error code 14 screen. After reading through a few posts I got by the problem and install worked. Then when I tried to run the program I got the message

"This program requires at least Windows 2000 with SPTD 1.60 or higher. Kernel debugger must be deactivated."

So i started looking for help again and came across this thread

After reading the thread and following the instructions found here

I got SPTD removed and installed 1.62, rebooted ran the installer again and confirmed 1.62 was installed, awesome, then I ran daemontools pro installer again and got the Error code 14 message again. What the hell? Am I missing something? Can anyone help me out? I cant install Daemontools, Alchaol 120% or Alchaol 52%

Yup, disabled threatfire and Avast! And still got the problem

You have to uninstall ThreatFire as it is currently completely not compatible.

Ah, ok So does that mean if I uninstall it and I get DaemonTools to work I can not reinstall threatfire?

Removed and reinstalled SPTD and Daemon tools after uninstalling Threat fire...Daemon tools now works! Thanks for the help!
