Device setup error: code 25055 (0x61df),0 (0x0). COntact your support person
Ok i got rid of that problem but now everytime i try to install daemon tools the add new hardware wizard comes up and the dirve never installs correctly. Once that happens i get a 25301 error in dameon tools.
Operating System: Windows XP SP1 Burning Software: Nero, CloneDVD Anti-virus Software: Kaspersky Antivirus DAEMON Tools Version: 3.47
I have nearly the same error message (mine is code 25050).
I uninstalled DT and tried to reinstall it as the error occured.
I deleted every registry entry that contained d347 (not if it was only part of a cryptic key, of course), removed the virtual drives from the device manager and deleted the d347* files from system32\drivers.
I also uninstalled Alcohol, Nero and CloneDVD, but still the same error message.
Has anyone an idea how I could solve this so I can reinstall DT?

Hello all, I also have the same problem. Any help please?? My hardware manager also wont display any hardware, even though it is connected and functioning.
I just located the last registry entry that caused the problem.
Rendariaka, try to locate the following registry keys and give full access to the SYSTEM account:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Enum\R oot\SYSTEM\000x (the one that contains d347 / if there is none, just do it to all keys)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\D-Tools
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\HARDWARE\DEVICEMAP\Scsi\Scsi Port x (the one that contains d347 / if there is none, just do it to all keys)
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Control\Cr iticalDeviceDatabase\root#d347bus
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SYSTEM\ControlSet001\Enum\PCI\d 347prt
If that doesn't work, just try to search for anything like d347prt and d347bus in the registry and allow full access for SYSTEM account on the keys.
