SACRED newest patch1.55beta9 prevents emulation

I use DaemonScript and it works with my backup cd. Not working with image on hd.

UK version.
I put CD1 in the drive, then run the script and it works fine.
(So the CD-drive is spinning when i run the script)

I have Alcohol also installed, but i disabled RMPS emulation from it.

MANY times, so you can see daemonscript icon blinking all the time when sacred is checking CD.
Still can't get it working with image, but works fine with my both cd-rom drives.

My Sacred version is 1.6.22.

Supreme are you fooling us?
It can't work when you have CD1 in your drive
the copy protection is on CD2

furthermore i've tested the script with my copy of CD2 which sacred v1.5 even accepted without rmps emulation
and it is the german version not UK
I've also tried 2 different drives...

but nothing seems to work for 1.6

I can vouch for Supreme's method; it works perfectly for UK version 1.6, with a physical copy of CD1. At least for the UK version, the protection is on CD1.

yeah its really weird , autorun is on cd 1 (nevermind version uk/german or whatever) but the "play" cd differs ... dunno what exactly they are thinking , when they came up with that lol

ah and btw i think it doesnt work with image , because the access time to image is a LOT faster then to a physical disc (cd rom has already ~120ms , so go figure)

also didnґt work for me here in germany. The script ist already 9457 bytes and it seems that Sacred is trying so long to deactivate the RMPS Emulation until it can and than the message "Please enter Disc 2" popsup.
Can we hope for help from DT Team ?

i have cd1 on cd.. but it dont work...
today i will try it again with some other tricks but i dont think to get it working :/

i still get disk error.
i use the script as you guys said, and cd1 is in the drive. i tried both my drives.
the script runs after the disk error, so it runs long enough.
this is weird.

For you whom are having problems using the method of a "script", make sure that your copy of CD1(UK/US version) is a "legit" copy with VOB ProtectCD v5.
(It MUST be a physical CD, an image will not work).
If it still doesn't work, check for other CD emulators installed (Alcohol, Virtual CD etc) and disable/uninstall them.

Still no luck?
Disable D-tools virtual drives and try.

Also check to see that you have the latest drivers for your IDE controller and that (preferrably) DMA transfer mode is activated for your CD-reader.

If it still doesn't work, I guess you're out of luck - the game has a superb copy protection which on many systems causes problems even with the original game.
