Well the problem I've been describing is from the cure thing. Its not a star wars problem. Star wars runs just fine, its cure that freezes up my win XP pro (if I have a windows explorer window open after the game exits and it tries to disable the protection, or I tell it to disable the protection).

I am having problems with curerom v1.3 also. When I try to open settings I have a system lockup and I have to use task manager to exit out. Any ideas?

Oh i had that one too but it seems rather erratic and doesnt
                    happen every time.

U can close explorer.exe with taskmanager , and then in the
taskmanager go to "FILE" -->New Task (i think in english thats
how it is) and start explorer.exe again. At least for me that
                    was a workaround.

Why u think its only me? Please attach your version of
madchook.dll here in the thread and i will get it and
scan it. Maybe something is goofy on my rig

And you sure that on your kaspersky the dll file is not on
the exclusion list already ? The weird thing is you can
still scan it then but it wont pop a report even if its the
                      only file you scan

BTW I USE THE EXTENDED DATABASE TO SCAN...not the default setting

sYk0, I'm having persistent problems with Curerom. Every time I try to use antiblacklist measures I get the same response
                            Error starting CureROM Anti-Blacklist measures
I have used Dependency walker and found an error, look

                            click for image

Delay-load module warning. This module is either missing one or more export functions that are required by its parent module, or is of the wrong CPU type. For a missing export, the Parent Import Function List View will list the actual unresolved functions that are missing. For delay-load dependencies, this is most likely not an error since one reason developers use delay-load modules is when they are unsure if a particular function exists in dependent module. Parents of delay-load modules have techniques for recovering from missing exports in the delay-loaded dependent module.

I have no clue what could be the problem. Please help.

@ Add3T, i'm well aware of the problem, and am fixing it now...
This seems to only happen on a few pc's... which is very wierd...

I have run into this problem myself on one of my other machines...
