i dont need to run protstop to play the game. i'm just using cureROM...

Hi,
I also got the Problem that I cant start the Game. I'm runnig DT 4.03HE, SecuRom and CureRom but nothing works. I always got the Problem that Emus are detected. Which way works?
TitanQuest is installed normally, without a patch.

How did you create your image (read settings used)? Did you use the latest CureROM?

now i am playing the game with a mini-image and curerom 2.031 and what do you think??no more crashes....before i was using asr 1.2 and there where a lot of crashes

Download CureROM 2.0.3.1 from hxxp://www.curerom.net,
once installed run the short from "Start Menu\CureROM\CureROM RegKey Removal", then proceed to make a CureROM profile for the game.

"CureROM RegKey Removal", removes some registry keys from you system wich may cause some SecuROM game to fail to start.

I found the problem with titan quest is not the exe or the miniimage is a cd key check that makes the game unstable
So follow this steps and u can use the mini image with out problem

Go to start, run, write regedit
Then find HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE , software, iron lore, titan quest
In titan quest you will find CD KEY reg_sz XXXX.. (your key) copy this key
Now go to the other folder 1.00.0000 and you will find (Default) REG_SZ
Double click in default and paste the cd key used in the folder before
Save it and ENJOY

Tq 1.11

So today there is Titan Quest Patch 1.11 out and asr.exe stopped working with the "A required security module can not be activated. This program can not be executed." error.

Anything about it yet?

Anyway, the workaround is to NOT put asr.exe in the game's directory. Just run it from somewhere else and the game will start.

asr works but i get booted to windows everytime i step into any portal i create.

I must be doing something wrong. It won't work for me. Asl 1.2 crashes when I load the .exe

I have the newest version of Asl and DT (4.03HE, SPTD 1.25)

I also tried to unplug my optical IDE drive and start without asl but still I get an error that the game found active emulation software

Any tips, what I might try?

oh i meant "asr" instead of "asl"

I now found out that the game/asr wont crash if I copy it to the game directory before starting it

Now I get an error, that some security module could not be loaded
